Voice and independence
Washington WizKids is built from a fan's point of view. Strong opinions, jokes and criticism are part of the product. Factual claims should still be attributable, and access, sponsorship or a personal relationship does not buy favorable coverage.
Sources and attribution
Primary sources are preferred: official league and team releases, game books, direct interviews, full press conferences and original video. Reputable reporting is named and linked. Rumors are identified as rumors, and anonymous social posts are not presented as confirmed reporting.
Corrections process
Typos that do not change meaning may be fixed without a note. A material factual error is corrected promptly, the article's updated date changes and a correction note is added when readers could otherwise misunderstand the original claim. Headlines and social posts are corrected too when necessary.

Sponsors, affiliates and merchandise
Paid placements, affiliate relationships, gifted products and sponsor messages will be labeled. Sponsors may support the work but do not review or approve independent editorial conclusions. Merchandise promotion will identify Washington WizKids as the seller or promoter and distinguish original marks from official team merchandise.
