Washington WizKids collects only the information needed to run the site, deliver requested email, count anonymous fan participation and understand whether our work is useful. We do not sell personal information.
Information you choose to provide
When you join the Morning Brief, you provide an email address. When future contact, guest or sponsor forms launch, the information entered in those forms will be used only to respond to that request and operate the relationship you initiated.

Information created while you use the site
The Fan Pulse creates a random device token, stores it in an HttpOnly cookie and saves only a one-way hash so one browser cannot repeatedly vote in the same poll. Research cards may be saved in your browser. Washington WizKids also counts privacy-safe first-party events such as page views, article reading progress, podcast clicks, newsletter confirmations, Stats Lab actions and merchandise interest. A random session identifier lasts only for the open browser tab and is stored as a one-way hash; IP addresses, ad IDs and cross-site profiles are not stored in this analytics dataset. Hosting providers may process standard request logs needed for security and reliability.

Service providers and external platforms
Kit processes newsletter subscriptions and email delivery. Netlify and Cloudflare host versions of the website and its storage. YouTube supplies video thumbnails, embeds and the official channel feed. Printify and TikTok Shop may process merchandise information after those stores launch. Their own privacy terms apply when you use their services.
Retention, choices and security
Subscription information remains with the email provider until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymous poll records may be retained to preserve accurate totals. No internet service can promise perfect security, but access is limited and the site avoids collecting sensitive information it does not need.

Children and policy updates
Washington WizKids is general-audience sports media and is not directed to children under 13. This policy may change as community accounts, commerce or new tools launch. Material changes will receive a new updated date on this page.
